The Beginning

From his school days, audio has been his passion. Raimondo spent his free time building speaker cabinets and amplifiers, which he then tested as a sound engineer in the vibrant pub circuits of Marche and Romagna—regions historically fertile for the musical instrument and professional audio industries in Italy. Upon completing his studies, these experiences enabled him to turn his passion into a career. He joined a renowned company specializing in the construction of HiFi and Professional Audio speakers. Under the mentorship of Dino Giannini, a leading figure in those glorious years, Raimondo learned the techniques and secrets of acoustic and mechanical speaker design, mastering every single component. Over his nine years at the company, he rose to the position of Head of Research and Development, designing some of the most widely used HiFi speakers of the era.

SICA Loudspeakers

In 1979, Raimondo founded SICA Altoparlanti, focusing primarily on professional audio speakers—a market that offered quicker and more secure returns on investment due to its natural size.

Over the years, SICA has become a reference point in the industry, thanks to significant investments in personnel, equipment, and infrastructure. Today, SICA guarantees its vast international clientele the highest levels of quality, reliability, and innovation.
